Exchange Program (ATEP)
The
Assistive Technology Exchange Program (ATEP) is sponsored by the Friends of
Boone County Family Resources. The ATEP
originated through a planning committee consisting of representatives
from: Boone County Council on Aging,
Boone County Family Resources, Columbia/Boone County Health Department,
The
ATEP is an online database of assistive technology equipment and devices that
are available to individuals in need.
The database compiles a complete listing of equipment available from
various participating agencies. The
ATEP online database is updated on a regular basis as equipment becomes
available.
Assistive
Technology (AT) is any device that helps a person achieve greater independence
and lead a more productive life.
